In 1990 Joe Rockhead’s opened as the first indoor climbing gym in Canada. Since that time Rockhead’s has set the industry standards, not only in safety, but also in providing instruction and quality team-building services to organizations large and small.

Joe Rockhead’s has provided event services for IBM, Coca-Cola, BBDO, Zenica Pharmaceuticals, Hewlett Packard, Young Presidents of Ontario, and many more.

Our interactive event customization allows your company’s particular principles and objectives to be represented in the nature of event tasks incorporated in your program. Each is specifically designed to stress principles fostering co-operation, group problem solving, risk management, mutual reliance; allowing teams to reach new heights unattained individually. Instructors at Joe Rockhead’s are all certified and have many years of climbing experience.



Do we require a reservation?

Yes. Reservations are required.

Will the gym be closed to the general public?

In most cases, no. Due to the large size of our facility, we find this is not necessary. This can be done for an additional cost.

What do we wear? What do we need? What do we bring?

Wear unrestrictive clothing. Athletic exercise or yoga wear is recommended. Climbing shoes can be provided, depending on size of group. Clean, dry running shoes can also be worn. You may want to bring a combination lock for our change room lockers, and a water bottle.


Does Rockhead's supply food?

No, we do not provide food. It's best to bring your own. Non-messy snacks and water are recommended. You may arrange your own catering. Some restrictions apply. There are also resturants and cafes in the Neighbourhood.

Where may we park? Is parking free?

There is a Green P lot on Fraser Ave north of Liberty St. Metered street parking is also available on Fraser. 

There is no free parking. Please do not park in the lot directly across the street; It is reserved.
